Gambling Chips

The city of sin, also known as "Las Vegas", Nevada, is one of the hottest cities to gamble in. Gamblers and party-goers come from all around the world to play the famous slot machines and bet some money on a good card game. One of the many features that people like to take home with them from their fun adventures are casino chips.

Every gambling casino has "chips". Each chip is round, and has different denominations displayed on them. The chips can range in denomination from one dollar to thousands of dollars. Just as the prices range on the gambling chips, so do the colors per denomination. There is a wide array of colors available for each gambling chip denomination. Many casinos will have their logo on one side of the chip, while the other side shows the chip's denomination.

Many collectors like to keep different chips from various casinos. Individuals often have a wide array of chips in their collection, as they collect ships from casino and hotels that they have been to, as well as chips that friends and family have been to as well. It is astonishing how much a vintage casino chip can be sold for in today's market. A vintage casino gambling chip that was once $20.00 can be seen at a selling rate of hundreds of dollars, if not thousands. Vintage gambling chips from casinos that no longer exist, such as the Star Dust hotel and casino in Las Vegas, can bring in a lot more money . This is due to the fact that the casino is no longer existent, and therefore, the chips are no longer being produced, either.

Vintage casino chips are indeed fun and collectible pieces of gambling past. Gambling chip collections make for great conversation pieces, and bring hours of enjoyable memories back to life. They are indeed fun pieces to collect, spend, and enjoy for a lifetime.
