Casinos can indeed be a fun time for many, but what can be of even more fun are the collectible pieces that one can keep from a casino.

Vintage casino pieces are truly a large collectors item. the collectible pieces that many people purchase are casino chips, beads, and retired playing cards. The playing cards can be vintage or new. Each set of retired playing cards will have some sort of hole stamped out of the card. This is so that the cards can not be played at a gambling table again. The cards that are used at gambling tables are often traded out for new sets. This is so that they cards that are being played with will be kept fresh from and folds, tears, or creases in the cards. The casinos vie to keep the playing cards in mint condition. The used cards are then packaged and sold in the casino gift shops. The cards often have the casino logo on the decorative side of the card. Other times, it is simply a standard pack of playing cards that is designed on the back. Either way, the playing cards that are used in casino gambling tables are often a hot selling item in the casino stores.

Very vintage playing cards can bring in hundreds of dollars in a sale or online auction. The older the playing cards, the more money that the cards will be worth.
