Fun Bath Times with Crazy Foam
Bath time can prove to be a difficult time for parents to wash their children. There are some children that do not like to take baths, while other children will never want to leave the bathtub. Having known this, the Bandai company created Crazy Foam, a foaming soap for kids.
Many adults can recall when Crazy Foam was created. In July of 1966, Crazy Foam washed away other competitors on the market. Crazy Foam was highly advertised on television, particularly during children’s programming. Children saw the Crazy Foam advertisements and were asking their parents for some bath time fun. Parents appreciated the Crazy Foam, as it was a foamy soap that children could use to lather themselves up in the bathtub. Children’s bath times became fun again, and parents could not be any happier.
Much of the appeal to the now vintage Crazy Foam was indeed the fact that the soap was foam. The other huge appeal was that the soap canisters came in different styles, such as a clown, an elephant and a barber. The tops of the Crazy Foam bottles represented various subjects, while their nose or mouth provided the hole for the foam to come out of. Children wanted to collect the Crazy Foam bottles so that they would have the entire collection.
Today, there are many adults that are on a constant search for Crazy Foam. The antique Crazy Foam bottles are often empty, which is ok for many of the collectors. It is just the mere fact of collecting the various antique Crazy Foam bottles that appeals to individuals. There are various ways that a fan can obtain an antique Crazy Foam bottle. One way is thru the internet, where there are many resources for such finds. Another way is at flea markets, where sellers are known to bring in various goods such as vintage toys. Many Crazy Foam enthusiasts are surprised when they see that a vintage can of Crazy Foam can cost under $20.00 in most instances. Although $20.00 is indeed a fair price for Crazy Foam, many Crazy Foam fans will agree that there is not a price too big or too small to pay when it comes to a vintage find of Crazy Foam.
